IGNIS

IGNIS is the Catholic mission behind Ignispedia and the free Via Divina formation: to know the faith, live it day by day, and pass it on.

Ignispedia

IGNIS is the Catholic mission behind Ignispedia and the free formation Via Divina. Its aim is simple: to help everyone know the Catholic faith, live it day by day, and pass it on to those around them. Everything is designed for someone who knows nothing and listens once: simple language, verified facts, and always hope.

Three doors, one fire

The mission opens through three doors. To know, with Ignispedia, the multilingual Catholic encyclopedia in open access: sourced articles on God, Christ, the Church, the saints, and the Divine Will. To learn, with Via Divina, a free ten-module journey to go deeper at your own pace. To live, with a prayer community and daily tools to grow. The encyclopedia is the entrance door; the formation and the community then take over.

Why "IGNIS"?

Ignis means "fire" in Latin: the fire of God's love, the one Christ came to bring to the earth. That is the whole programme of the mission: to rekindle knowledge and love, where so many online sources spread false or misleading information about the faith.
